Solid hardwood (probably oak). Piece has a nice, quality Victorian feel. Beautiful carved wood. Cast iron claw with glass ball feet. Structurally solid and sits flat and flush. Seat is adjustable height from 20" to 24" tall.

Outstanding piece dating back to the turn of the century. Piece can easily hold a person's weight. Original dark finish shows natural wear. Great piece to complete the Victorian look.
