A thin hammered and folded sterling silver bowl, six tendrils or thin folds extend up the sides from the base through a field of hammered peen marks to six domed starfish designs near the folded rim.
Measures 3.25 x 8.5 inches.
Good condition, noting eleven short splits at the rim resulting from the thinning of the silver at the rim in order to achieve the design of the piece, the patina and definition of the hammering and starfish are good.
